AI Product Manager
Also written as AI PM, AI Product Owner
A product manager for AI-powered features or products. On top of normal product work, they decide what 'good enough' means for an AI that is sometimes wrong, work with engineers on evaluations, and manage cost, safety and user trust.
Think of it like
A product manager whose product occasionally improvises, so part of the job is deciding which improvisations are acceptable.
Junior or senior?
Many PMs have added 'AI' to their title after one feature.
Senior sounds like
Has defined quality measures for an AI feature and made a launch or no-launch call based on them.
Ask them
“How did you decide your AI feature was good enough to launch, and what did you do about the cases where it was wrong?”
