Azure SQL Database
Azure's managed relational database service — Microsoft's direct equivalent to AWS RDS.
Think of it like
Like Azure's own property management company, maintaining the database so you don't have to patch and back it up yourself.
Junior or senior?
Junior sounds like
Isn't sure whether their Azure database experience was Azure SQL Database or Cosmos DB.
Senior sounds like
Can say clearly which one, and what drove that choice.
Ask them
“Was your Azure database experience with Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, or both — and what drove that choice?”
