Firebase
Google's mobile/web app platform bundling a hosted database, authentication, hosting, and serverless functions — a common choice for startups and mobile apps that want backend infrastructure without standing up their own servers.
Think of it like
Like a furnished studio apartment building — plumbing, power, and security already handled by the landlord, so tenants focus on their own unit instead of the building's infrastructure.
Junior or senior?
Junior sounds like
Hasn't hit a real limit of what Firebase could do.
Senior sounds like
Can describe a time their product did, and what they did about it.
Ask them
“Did your product ever hit a real limit of what Firebase could do? What did you do about it?”
