Post-Quantum Cryptography

New encryption methods designed to stay secure even against a future large quantum computer, which could break much of today's encryption. The US standards body NIST published the first standards in 2024, and organisations are now working through the long job of finding and replacing old encryption everywhere it is used.
Think of it like
Changing every lock in the building because a master-key design is known to be coming, before anyone actually has one.
Junior or senior?
Driven by the risk that attackers are recording encrypted data now to decrypt later.
Senior sounds like
Has built an inventory of where encryption is used across systems and led a migration plan, not just read the standards.
Ask them
“How did you find every place your systems used vulnerable encryption, and what did you migrate first?”
