Push Notifications
Messages sent from a server directly to a user's device even when the app isn't open, used for alerts, reminders, or re-engagement.
Think of it like
Like a doorman handing you a note the moment you walk by, rather than you having to check a mailbox yourself.
Junior or senior?
Junior sounds like
Sends a push notification for every possible event.
Senior sounds like
Can describe how their team decided what was actually worth a notification, versus what would annoy users into disabling them.
Ask them
“How did your team decide what was actually worth a push notification, versus what would just annoy users into turning them off?”
