SDK
Also written as Software Development Kit
A packaged set of tools, libraries, and documentation that helps developers build for a specific platform or service.
Think of it like
Like a starter toolkit a manufacturer hands out so other companies can build add-ons that plug into their product correctly.
Junior or senior?
Junior sounds like
Has only consumed SDKs built by others.
Senior sounds like
Has built one for others to consume themselves.
Ask them
“Have you built an SDK for others to consume, or mainly consumed SDKs built by others?”
